“After almost 2 months of severe head and neck pain, 3 MRI’s, and an EMG, Dr. Kube suggested that we try trigger point injections. I agreed and was introduced to Derek. We started with 2 injections at the base of my head after a few days it was almost like I was “craving” some more injections. Derek agreed and did 2 more in the base of my head and upper neck. I immediately was feeling relieved. At my 2 week check-up with Derek, I again asked for more injections this time in my lower neck along my traps muscle. Within a few minutes I was already feeling better than I have in almost 2 months. I am a person who strongly dislike needles and I can honestly say that these trigger point injections have taken pain away. I would rate an 8 or 9 out of 10 down to a tolerable 4 or 5 out of 10.
