Dr. Kube discusses out-of-network contracts for spine surgery

Dr. Kube was featured in Becker’s Spine Review in a feature titled, “Ask Spine Surgeons.”  It is a weekly series of questions posed to spine surgeons around the country about clinical, business and policy issues affecting spine care. Dr. Kube discusses out-of-network contracts for spine surgery. 

Dr. Kube’s response:  We do still have the ability to provide out-of-network services to some individuals.  There are an increasing number of insurance providers in our region who are dropping or severely limiting the out-of-network benefits patients have.
