My only comment I would have is that every staff member that works for Prairie Spine is great! Very polite staff members and they all listen to my concerns.

Dr. Kube and his staff provided me with excellent care! I had already seen several other doctors before being referred to Dr. Kube. A lot of time and pain would have been prevented had I seen Dr. Kube to start with.

The office staff was efficient. I waited only 10 minutes before I was taken and physical therapy was recommended. I didn’t think it would work. A therapy close to my home was found. It is very slow but I have definitely improved.

You have done a very good job. I appreciate all the things you have done for me.

As you are greeted through the front door with a charming atmosphere, you are also greeted by the caring staff at the front desk at the Prairie Spine and Pain Clinic. The network at PSPI runs as efficiently and smoothly as does a Rolex watch. Nothing out of order, nothing making a sound or anything missing a movement. I enjoy the kindness and profession of Dr. Kube and the entire PSPI staff.

Whether young, middle years or senior years….we have but one body to live in and the center point of what enables us to do rests squarely on our spine. Run, dance, walk, play sports or sit leisurely; our spine houses the nerve mechanisms that tell our bones and muscles what to do.
I played a lot of sports and true to the old adage “If I had known how long I was going to live….I would have taken better care of myself” Fact is…I didn’t and when I needed attention to spinal issues; I sought assistance/care from Dr. Kube. From the first time I encountered his services when he practiced at Midwest Orthopaedics to later seeing him at Prairie Spine and Pain Institute…. knew his performance and decision-making qualities were exactly what I needed! Superior performance and qualifications of a medical professional are what you, the patient, look for to bolster your confidence that you are with the doctor you needed. When Dr. Kube advised that he had reached his limits in my treatment….he readily recommended Dr. Christopher DeWald University Hospital in Chicago. A TRUE PROFESSIONAL is one that recognizes his/her limits of care and acts appropriately in the best interest of the patient. I honor not only the professional capability of Dr. Kube and exemplary staff but I honor also his integrity and honesty on my behalf. I find that profoundly respectful not only of me as a patient but his recognition of the limits of his ability to treat what needed to be done. Sadly, other doctors refuse to acknowledge their practice limits relying on repeated treatments/visits that no longer advance the healing of the patient. I’m lucky to have Dr. Kube and I would recommend his services to everyone that I know with conditions similar to mine.
Dr. Kube and staff…I salute you for your service and dedication to excellent patient care!

My experience here at Prairie Spine was fantastic. They were very thorough and professional. I was referred to physical therapy at Athletico in Perkin. I was extremely happy with my therapy, as they were so helpful and knowledgeable in my recovery. I highly recommend both to anyone in pain.

Walking in with so much, not knowing anyone is scary. I’ve never felt more at home and at ease than at Prairie Spine and Pain. Smiling and polite from front to back. Val and Melidy are true caregivers. Receptionist, so helpful and kind. I have already recommended Prairie Spine to 3 people. I woke up with no absolutely no pain and in great hands. Beautiful people, helping in all ways. Thank you, Dr. Kube, Andrew, and all the staff!

I was injured in February 2017. I was seen by Unity Point Methodist, Unity Point Proctor, IWIRC, a neurologist, physical therapist. Each time, the medical practitioners who would state there was nothing medically wrong with my body. Yet, I was in continual pain; not excruciating pain but constant pain in my head, neck, shoulder and upper back. Visit after visit, I was told nothing was wrong, yet I was in continual pain.
One day, I ask to see a pain specialist and was referred to Prairie Spine and Pain Institute. I met with Dr. Andrew Kitterman. This was the first time I felt my pain mattered. I explain the pain was not where I wanted to lie down and die, but the pain was there all day every day. Dr. Kitterman attended, understood, and began treatment to alleviate my pain. I began physical therapy with Dr. Jeremy Przybylo.
A week after the therapy, I felt better but I was still in pain. Dr. Kitterman decided to give me a shot in the upper back region. The next day I was pain-free in that area. I continued the therapy and was eventually given another series of shots in my neck/shoulder area. After a few days, I was pain-free. I met with Dr. Kube and he showed compassion for the state of pain I had been in for so long while other medical institutions had no concern for how I felt.
Since I have regained a life without pain. There are times that I realize, man, I not in pain. Sometimes, during the therapy, I can feel the knots in my upper back and shoulder area but it is not the pain that I had continually. I am able to reach above my head without pain; I am able to live again.
I wish to commend everyone at the Prairie Spine and Pain Institute for the true dedication to treating the patients with care, compassion, and concern.
